Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, we co-host Dinner Club at Fireridge Farmstand. Each meal is focused around a different cuisine from around the world. Follow the link below to reserve your seat for one of our dinners!

Every dish we make is made 100% from scratch and using as many local ingredients as possible. This means that our food is very driven by the seasons and our farmers. Our menu is constantly changing so stay up to date with our menus and events on our Facebook page.

You can catch the food truck at Shortleaf Brewing in Camdenton every Friday and Saturday for some good food and brews! Outdoor seating is available and leashed pets are allowed.

We have also partnered with Fireridge Farmstand to host Dinner club every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, themed around a different regional cuisine each meal. Follow our Facebook for dinner announcements or join our mailing list! You can also catch us there every Friday for lunch 11am-2pm.

 

Meet the Team

Swallowtail began with the idea of bringing Ozark cuisine back to the Ozarks. In 2020, we realized that our skill sets go beyond the professional kitchen and started Swallowtail to open the doors of our creative freedom using local Ozark ingredients and purveyors. We pride ourselves on making everything from scratch, from smoking our own meats to grinding our own grains. Food is our passion and it shines through in every menu we create. Some people ask us, “do you eat this extravagant all the time?” Yes. Yes we do.

 
  • While working in the industry for several years, I received a degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 2018. After graduation, I worked as the Executive Sous Chef for a fine dining restaurant in New York City for three years. The pandemic brought me to Austin, Texas where Andrew and I met and started this incredible journey called Swallowtail.

  • Graduated from Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas in 2014. I have worked in every aspect of the restaurant industry, including working for 6 years in the James Beard Award winning restaurant, Barley Swine. Being raised in Camdenton, Missouri I have always thought there was a lot of potential in the community, and would like to bring my talents and passions back to the area.

  • Pricing will vary based on the ingredients available during that time of year. We will work with you as best we can. We typically charge on a per person basis.

    Coursed dinners can range from $75-$250 per person

    We offer such a variety of options, we are sure that there is something that will fit your budget and needs!

  • So you’ve decided to dine with us- AWESOME!

    We typically ask for a 14 day lead time in order to gather all the required ingredients for your event.

    Once we have agreed on a menu, number of guests, place and time, we will ask for a 50% deposit, with remainder due upon arrival.

    If you are doing one of our coursed dinners we will arrive at least an hour before the dinner starts in order to set up.

    We cook at your pace! No need to feel rushed to get to the next course, we can go ask quickly or slowly as you’d like.

    Don’t worry about the clean up— that’s our job.
